Abidjan, 15 mars 2024 - Gulf International Alliance Company SA a signé aujourd'hui un partenariat stratégique avec le gouvernement de Côte d'Ivoire pour la construction d'une centrale de valorisation énergétique à Abidjan et Yamoussoukro.
Ce projet d'envergure, d'une capacité totale de 45 MW, permettra de traiter 120 000 tonnes de déchets par an et d'alimenter plus de 28 000 foyers en électricité. La cérémonie de signature s'est déroulée en présence du Ministre de l'Environnement et du Développement Durable, ainsi que du Président Directeur Général de Gulf International, Gustave G. DION.
Ce partenariat marque une étape cruciale dans la stratégie de transition énergétique de la Côte d'Ivoire et confirme notre engagement à transformer les défis environnementaux en opportunités de développement durable.
Les travaux devraient débuter au second semestre 2024 pour une mise en service prévue en 2026. Ce projet créera près de 850 emplois directs et indirects, contribuant ainsi au développement économique local.
